DAVIS, Calif. (AP) -- Mark Dawson and Aaron Nixon had 16 points each to lead Long Beach State to a 89-75 victory over UC Davis on Thursday night.
Kejuan Johnson and Kevin Houston added 14 apiece for the 49ers (8-4).
Thomas Juillerat had 15 points, five rebounds, five assists, and three steals in 32 minutes for the Aggies (1-6), who suffered their fourth straight loss. Their lone victory was against Jackson State on Dec. 2.
Tied at 19, the 49ers went on a 23-9 run to take a 42-29 halftime lead. Long Beach State scored 26 points off 14 Aggies turnovers in the first half.
Long Beach State led by as many as 20 points after Johnson hit a 3-point shot to make the score 74-54 in the second half.
Sterling Byrd's 12 points and Louis Darby's 10 gave the 49ers six players in double figures.
