Bears without top deep threat after Berrian knocked out

CHICAGO -- Chicago Bears wide receiver
Bernard Berrian left
Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins with a rib injury.

Berrian said his ribs aren't broken and the injury was not caused by a hit.

"I just fell on it kind of weird," he said.

Berrian caught one pass for 10 yards on the Bears' first
possession but did not come out for their second series. With
Berrian out, Chicago was without its primary deep threat. The
third-year pro has 27 catches for 495 yards and four touchdowns
this season.
