MADISON, Wisconsin (Ticker) - No. 17 Wisconsin looks to continue
an impressive first season under coach Bret Bielema when it
hosts Big Ten Conference rival Penn State on Saturday.

The Badgers (8-1, 5-1 Big Ten) rallied from an 18-point deficit
for a 30-24 home victory over Illinois last week. It was their
largest comeback victory since erasing a 21-point deficit vs.
Missouri in 1984.

Wisconsin took the lead for good on the first play of the fourth
quarter when John Stocco hit Andy Crooks with a screen pass and
the tight end ran 21 yards to the 1 before fumbling into the
end zone and recovering for a touchdown.

With the triumph, Bielema set a school record for wins by a
first-year coach. His squad has won five straight games since a
27-13 loss at Michigan on September 23.

Penn State (6-3, 4-2) has won four of its past five games,
including a 12-0 triumph at Purdue last Saturday.

Tony Hunt ran 31 times for 142 yards and a touchdown for the
Nittany Lions, who outgained the Boilermakers on the ground,
240-62.

Wisconsin is 7-4 against Penn State but was blown out last year
in Happy Valley, 35-14.
