FBA: Top fantasy rookies

Save for the Class of 2003, well-rounded rookie fantasy studs are tough to come by. Sure, it's fun to be the owner that finds the gem of the newbies, but generally speaking the risk outweighs the reward. One thing is for sure: where a player was taken in the NBA draft shouldn't concern you, opportunity should.

Last season, only Hornets point guard Chris Paul made a huge splash in fantasy, and he was passed over by three teams on draft night. Top overall pick Andrew Bogut didn't even average in double figures. Marvin Williams was selected second overall by a bad team, but he started just seven games in his first season. And No. 3 pick Deron Williams showed flashes of what likely lies ahead, but produced just modest numbers.
