Week 2: Hec & Vic game predictions

Not only do Hector & Victor help project what each and every fantasy football player will do this weekend, they predict the winners and losers and why of each game. Enjoy!

Seahawks 34, Cardinals 27: Seattle RB Shaun Alexander clearly misses OG Steve Hutchinson (free agency) and even TE Jerramy Stevens (knee), but last week's pedestrian performance isn't the start of a trend. The Seahawks still have an upper-crust offensive line, and Arizona's front seven doesn't yet have the mixture of size, speed, depth and discipline to shut down premier rushing attacks. QB Matt Hasselbeck will have his usual solid outing, and he could get more opportunities than usual if Cardinals QB Kurt Warner and friends successfully stretch the field. It won't be easy against a balanced, efficient Seahawks defense.

Falcons 27, Buccaneers 17: Falcons QB Michael Vick shredded Tampa Bay's defense twice last season, and he showed last week that his unrivaled big-play ability can make all the difference for fantasy owners. With Atlanta's offensive line and RB Warrick Dunn wearing down the Buccaneers' aging, undersized defense and creating favorable down-and-distance situations, Vick is a safer play than you might think. RB Carnell Williams might be slowed (back), WR Joey Galloway will meet his match in Falcons CB DeAngelo Hall and the rest of Atlanta's defense has tightened up since last season. Expect another stinker from QB Chris Simms.
