Athletics-Germans file protest over women's 100 hurdles result

GOTHENBURG, Sweden, Aug 11 - The German federation
filed a protest on Friday after sprinter Kirsten Bolm was
awarded the bronze in the women's 100 metres hurdles in the same
time as silver medallist Derval O'Rourke of Ireland.

Both runners clocked 12.72 behind Sweden's winner Susanna
Kallur, with Bolm at first appearing in second place on the
stadium's results board before it was changed to show O'Rourke
in the silver medal position.
