ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Texas Rangers recalled pitcher Josh
Rupe from Triple-A Oklahoma on Friday.
Rupe will fill the roster spot vacated by pitcher Francisco
Cordero, who's been traded to Milwaukee.
Texas also optioned outfielder Freddy Guzman to the RedHawks.
Guzman was batting .286 in four games with the Rangers.
