Rafael Nadal withdraws from Swedish Open

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - Two-time French Open champion Rafael Nadal withdrew from next week's clay-court Swedish Open on Friday

Nadal, the defending Swedish Open champion, has won a record 60 matches on clay. He pulled out because he plays Australian Open runner-up Marcos Baghdatis in the Wimbledon semifinals later Friday.

"It is incredibly frustrating to have to withdraw from my favorite tournament," Nadal said in a statement. "I will now do everything I can to win Wimbledon, but I am completely worn out and there is unfortunately no way to reload for another week."
