CLEVELAND (Ticker) - The Cleveland Indians seek to post a fourth
straight win for the first time in more than seven weeks
Tuesday when they square off with the New York Yankees in the
second contest of a four-game series.

Cleveland extended its run to three games in Monday's series
opener, riding rookie Jeremy Sowers to a 5-2 triumph. Todd
Hollandsworth and Victor Martinez drove in two runs apiece for
the Indians, who are closing in on their first four-game winning
streak since May 16-19.

Jason Giambi hit a two-run homer in the first inning for the
Yankees, who had won eight of their last 11 games.

New York will try and bounce back behind Shawn Chacon (4-2, 5.68
ERA), who has not won in his last five starts. He yielded
three runs - two earned - in five innings in his last outing on
June 25, taking the loss in a 5-0 setback vs. Florida.

Cleveland turns to Jake Westbrook (6-4, 4.37), who pitched six
innings Wednesday at St. Louis, allowing three runs and six
hits. He did not factor into the 5-4 loss and is just 1-1 in
his last five starts despite a solid 3.12 ERA in that stretch.
