COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Kei Kamara scored in the 86th minute to
help the Columbus Crew avoid their third straight loss and extend
New England's winless streak to six games with a 1-1 draw Wednesday
night.

Andy Dorman gave the Revolution the lead in the 66th minute with
a skidding, right-footed shot from 17 yards that beat Columbus
goalkeeper Noah Palmer.

Dorman capitalized on crisp passes from Revolution midfielder
Jose Cancela and forward Taylor Twellman.

Kamara's goal was assisted by Ritchie Kotschau, who came off the
bench in the first half to replace an injured Rusty Pierce.

New England forward Taylor Twellman nearly scored the
game-winner in the 89th minute, but his header from 8 yards bounced
off the crossbar and out of bounds.<

WASHINGTON -- Clyde Simms scored his first career MLS goal
on a 20-yard strike to lead D.C. United to a victory over Chicago.

United extended its undefeated streak to eight matches with the
victory and earned its fourth shutout of the year.

Chicago has earned just one point in its last five matches but
was shut out for only the second time this season.

Simms, a defensive midfielder, struck in the 17th minute,
reaching Christian Gomez's pass and driving it into the lower-left
corner.

Freddy Adu also came close to his first goal of the year,
hitting the right post early in the first half.

D.C.'s Jaime Moreno, currently second on the MLS all-time goals
list with 102, left the Wednesday's match in the 77th minute with
an unspecified leg injury. He was taken to the hospital after the
game for further evaluation.
