Soccer-Guayre agrees three-year deal with Celta

MADRID, June 3 - Celta Vigo have recruited their
first reinforcement for next season by agreeing to sign
midfielder Antonio Guayre on a three-year deal from Villarreal.

Celta said the 26-year-old Spain international, who will
move on a free transfer after completing his contract at
Villarreal, would be presented to the media on Tuesday.

The Galician side, who returned to the top flight last year
after a season in the second division, have qualified for the
UEFA Cup after finishing sixth in the Primera Liga.

"I've come from Villarreal who have also been playing in
Europe and I hope that I can get the continuity I didn't get
there when I play for Celta," Guayre told the Celta website.

"What I want to do is play, and if Celta have shown the
interest to sign me then I don't want to let them down."
