Blue Jays eye three-game sweep of White Sox

TORONTO - The Toronto Blue Jays hope to complete a
sweep of the Chicago White Sox on Sunday when the teams wrap up
a three-game series.

Toronto has won four of its last five games, including the first
two of this set by a combined margin of 11-4. Shea
Hillenbrand's 11th-inning home run provided the difference in
Saturday's 3-2 triumph.

Chicago, which entered this series having won five of its last
six games, will turn to a pitcher who has enjoyed solid success
against the Blue Jays in his career.

Jon Garland (3-2, 6.12 ERA) has posted a lifetime 6-2 mark with
a 3.88 ERA against Toronto, including a perfect 3-0 record in
seven career games at Rogers Centre.

This season has been predominantly a struggle for Garland, who
has won just once in his last six starts. The 2005 All-Star was
reached for four runs - including three homers - in 6 1/3
innings of Monday's eventual 5-4 win against Oakland.

Toronto counters with rookie Ty Taubenheim (0-1, 4.50), who made
his major league debut in Coors Field and now will take on the
defending champions in his second start.

His debut was an unspectacular one on May 20, when he yielded
three runs in five innings of a 5-1 defeat against the Rockies.
