MANLLEU, Spain -- Spaniard Adolfo Garcia
Quesada won stage five of the Tour of Catalonia from Llivia to
Manlleu on Friday.
Spaniard Carlos Castano remains overall race leader. The
tour finishes on Sunday in Barcelona.
Garcia Quesada, who won the Tour of Andalucia in February,
was the fastest of a group of three breakaway riders that
finished about one minute ahead of the main peloton.
"I wanted to go for the overall but I had a bad day in the
key mountain stage, so I've been going for stages instead," said
Garcia Quesada.
