NEW YORK (Ticker) -- The Indiana Pacers look to improve or at
least maintain their postseason position when they visit the
New York Knicks on Friday.

The Pacers trail Milwaukee (37-38) by one-half game for the
sixth seed in the Eastern Conference playoff race and are just
1 1/2 games over eighth-place Chicago (35-40).

Indiana ended its five-game slide Wednesday by posting a
111-103 home victory against Toronto. Peja Stojakovic and
Stephen Jackson led the Pacers with 25 points apiece.

The Knicks ended their nine-game losing streak Wednesday by
hanging on to a 96-94 win here against playoff-bound Cleveland,
which had its nine-game winning streak halted.

Jamal Crawford scored a season-high 37 points for New York,
including the go-ahead jumper with 6.4 seconds remaining.
