How 'bout No, ridden by Mike Luzzi for trainer Richard Dutrow,
Jr., posted her second straight win in the race for 3-year-old
fillies bred in New York. She covered the six furlongs in 1:12.31.
How 'bout No was never worse than second at any point. She
closely tracked the pace set by Stand by the Phone until the leader
tired in the stretch. Only Motor City Mama seriously challenge in
the final stages.
Motor City Mama, the 6-5 favorite, hit the gate at the start and
got away slowly. She recovered to launch a three-wide bid in the
lane.
How 'bout No paid $6.10, $3.30 and $2.60. Motor City Mama
returned $2.90 and $2.20. Keep Your Day Job paid $3.60 for show.
