WAYNE, Neb. -- The Northern State women advanced to their
first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference championship game
Saturday with a 70-51 win over Concordia-St. Paul.
Noelle Hall led Northern State (24-5, 12-3 NSIC) with 20 points
and fell just short of a double-double with nine rebounds. Ali
Chmielewski scored 17 points and Miranda Boepple added 14 points
for the Wolves.
Ashley Smith was the only Concordia-St. Paul (19-10, 9-6) player
to score in double figures with 16 points. The Golden Bears shot
just 24 percent from the field in the second half.
The Wolves face Wayne State in the NSIC finals on Sunday.
