I'm a bit sad today.
There's really nothing special about Brian Lawrence and Kip Wells for fantasy baseball, so let's make that clear right away. Neither was going to win anyone a fantasy championship. I've owned both over the years in leagues of various sizes (deep leagues mainly) and gained some appreciation for their ability, their roles, what they can do well, etc.
Mark Prior and Jason Schmidt, they are not. Those are potential aces. Lawrence and Wells, they throw innings. Sometimes, bad innings.
