BLOOMINGTON, Indiana (Ticker) -- No. 16 Michigan State can
reach 20 wins for the seventh time in nine seasons Sunday when
it meets Indiana in a Big Ten Conference encounter.

The Spartans (19-8, 7-6 Big Ten) have dropped three of their
last four, including Wednesday's 79-68 loss to Ohio State which
snapped a 15-game home winning streak. Maurice Ager led
Michigan State with 26 points.

Despite the recent slump, the Spartans are the only team in the
nation with three players averaging at least 17 points. Ager
(18.8) is third in the conference in scoring, ahead of Shannon
Brown (18.2), who is fourth, and Paul Davis (17.9), who is
fifth.

Indiana (14-10, 6-7) has lost five of six and is playing its
final home game of the season. The Hoosiers will meet Purdue
and Michigan on the road before the Big Ten Tournament.

Seniors Marco Killingsworth, Sean Kline, Lewis Monroe and
Marshall Strickland will make their farewell appearance at
Assembly Hall, as will coach Mike Davis, who is stepping down
after the season.

Strickland scored 22 points to become the 40th player in school
history to reach 1,000 in his career as the Hoosiers snapped a
five-game losing streak with Wednesday's 69-65 triumph over Penn
State.

Ager scored 28 points and Davis added 23 with 10 rebounds for
the Spartans in an 87-73 victory over Indiana on January 11.
Michigan State has won four of the last five encounters,
including two straight overtime victories here.
