ARCADIA, Calif. -- Favorite Behaving Badly cruised to a
4}-length victory in the $107,000 Las Flores Handicap for fillies
and mares Saturday.
Ridden by Victor Espinoza, Behaving Badly covered six furlongs
in 1:09.09 and paid $2.40, $2.20 and $2.10. Awesome Lady paid $5.60
and $2.10. Sprint to Spare returned $2.10 to show.
The victory was the sixth in eight starts for Behaving Badly.
She won the Santa Monica Handicap last month. The 5-year-old mare
earned $64,200 Saturday to boost her career earnings to $411,400.
In other stakes action, Moscow Burning closed strongly to win
the $108,700 Pro or Con Handicap. Moscow Burning, ridden by David
Flores, covered the mile-long turf course in 1:33.40 and paid
$3.40, $2.40 and $2.10. Alphabet Kisses returned $3.60 and $2.40.
Unusual Springs paid $2.20 to show.
The winning purse of $65,220 added to Moscow Burning's bankroll
of $1.1 million.
