Stetson 75, Gardner Webb 66

DELAND, Fla. (AP) -- Gabe McMillen scored a career-high 19 points
and handed out seven assists to lead Stetson to a 77-65 victory
over Gardner-Webb on Saturday.

McMillen didn't miss a shot all night, making two 3-pointers,
six other field goals and his only free throw.

E.J. Gordon, playing his final home game, led all scorers with
21 points to help the Hatters (13-17, 11-9) win their eighth
straight game. It marks Stetson's longest win streak since the
1982-83 team won its first eight games.

The Bulldogs are 17-11 overall and 13-7 in conference play.

Stetson led by just one point after Gardner-Webb's Tim Jennings
made a 3-pointer to make it a 52-51 game with 9:43 to play.

But the Hatters scored the next 14 points with McMillen having a
hand in most of them. McMillen made a three-point play, a 3-pointer
and had two assists in the 14-0 run that covered 2:16 and left
Stetson with a 66-51 lead.

Anthony Register finished with 17 points for Stetson.

Jennings led Gardner-Webb with 18 points, while Simon Conn had
15 points.
