UPDATE 1-Soccer-Regueiro double puts Valencia back up to second

By Mark Elkington

MADRID, Feb 19 - Two goals from Mario Regueiro
secured Valencia a 2-1 comeback victory at Real Sociedad in the
Primera Liga on Sunday and put them back in second place.

Valencia have 49 points, six behind leaders Barcelona who
hammered Real Betis 5-1 in the Nou Camp on Saturday.

Third-placed Real Madrid have 48 points following their
comfortable 3-0 home win over Alaves.

Sociedad's Danish striker Morten Skoubo scored inside the
first minute as they rocked Valencia back, but Quique Sanchez
Flores's side dominated from there on.

Uruguayan winger Regueiro equalised in the 69th and nine
minutes later profited from an error to score the winner,
extending Valencia's unbeaten run to 13 games.

Osasuna kept pace with the leaders in fourth place on 46
points after recovering to beat struggling Cadiz 3-1 away.

Cadiz's Argentine forward Lucas Lobos, in his first start
for the club, chipped a free kick over the wall for the opening
goal after 15 minutes and Osasuna struck back before the break.

Serbia & Montenegro striker Savo Milosevic looped a header
into the far corner in the 35th minute and two minutes later
David Lopez curled a free kick round the wall for the second.

After Cadiz's Alexander Medina had been sent off with 14
minutes to go Osasuna midfielder Raul Garcia let fly from 20
metres to seal the points.

Real Mallorca's new coach Gregorio Manzano earned a 2-0 away
win over fellow strugglers Malaga on his debut, and dragged the
islanders off the foot of the table with their first win in 10
outings.

Mallorca climbed to 18th on 22 points, as Betis slipped to
19th on goal difference, and Malaga went bottom with 20.
