Michigan Tech 4, Wisconsin 4 (tie)

HOUGHTON, Mich. -- Goals by Taggart Desmet and John Scott in
the final 10 minutes of regulation lifted Michigan Tech to a 4-4
tie with No. 3 Wisconsin Saturday night.

Freshman goalie Michael-Lee Teslak stopped 44 shots for Michigan
Tech (7-20-5, 6-13-5 in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association).

The Badgers (21-7-3, 15-6-3), who shut out the Huskies 5-0
Friday night, got 25 saves from junior Brian Elliott.

Wisconsin took a 2-0 lead on first-period goals by Tom Gilbert
on a power play and Matthew Ford, who collected a rebound and
tapped the puck in at the 10:57 mark.

Nick Anderson made it 2-1 with a power play goal at 15:55, but a
goal by Jack Skille early in the second period put Wisconsin up
3-1. He took the puck into the offensive zone and ripped his shot
over Teslak's glove for the score.

Tyler Skworchinski redirected a shot for a Michigan Tech goal
just over two minutes later, and the Badgers responded with a
shorthanded goal by Joe Pavelski to make it 4-2 at 8:43 of the
second period.

The Huskies got their game-winning goals when Desmet scored on a
power play at 10:09 of the third period and Scott found a loose
puck and scored with 2:37 to go.

The Badgers had a 6-0 edge in shots during overtime but didn't
score.
