HOUSTON -- Houston Texans reserve running back Tony Hollings appeared in court Tuesday to face a gun charge.
Hollings, 24, was arrested in Houston on Jan. 3 and charged with unlawfully carrying a gun with a suspended driver's license. Hollings was stopped for speeding.
Hollings was released from jail after posting a $2,000 bond.
He did not enter a plea at Tuesday's arraignment and Harris County Criminal Court judge Analia Wilkerson set another court date for Jan. 26.
The 5-foot-10, 218-pound Hollings played in only two games and did not have a carry last season. He returned two kickoffs for a total of 46 yards.
The Texans drafted Hollings in 2003.
