WELLINGTON, Dec 28 - All rounder Andre Adams has
withdrawn from New Zealand's one-day squad for matches against
Sri Lanka after breaking a bone in his right hand.
Adams had been replaced by left-arm swing bowler James
Franklin, New Zealand Cricket said on Wednesday.
The 30-year-old Adams suffered the injury while practicing
with the New Zealand side ahead of the first one-day match in
Queenstown on December 31.
He had been recalled to the squad after missing the
Chappell-Hadlee Trophy Series against Australia earlier this
month with a broken finger on his left hand.
The second match is in Christchurch on January 3, with the
third match in Wellington on January 6 and the final game two
days later in Napier.
