I'll get into the mailbag more Friday, but I would like to address an e-mail from Andrew in Dallas today, since it will cover this whole SportsCenter-getting-waaay-ahead-of-itself-in-revering-USC phenomenon:
Andrew: "What are your thoughts on how USC '05 is being matched up with these all-time great teams? My thoughts are that first and foremost, USC hasn't even won the national championship yet. I am a Horns fan, and can see how people pick USC to win, but still, you've got to do it first. I just dropped seven bills on an end-zone ticket to the Rose Bowl, so it certainly ain't over yet. Also, I think that USC '04 was a better team than USC '05 based solely on defense."
