LAFAYETTE, La. -- Dwayne Mitchell scored 22 points, leading
five players in double figures, as Louisiana-Lafayette defeated
Oral Roberts 95-74 Thursday night.
Mitchell also grabbed eight rebounds for the Ragin' Cajuns
(2-5). Chris Cameron and Ed Turner added 19 points apiece, Michael
Southall had 12 and Maurice Barksdale had 10. Southall also pulled
down eight rebounds.
Caleb Green led Oral Roberts (5-4) with 31 points and 11
rebounds. Larry Owens also had 11 rebounds. Ken Tutt added 14
points and Mickey Michalec had 10.
Louisiana-Lafayette led 43-28 at the half and Oral Roberts never
got closer than 12.
