Seton Hall 83, Tulane 64

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- Donald Copeland scored a
career-high 25 points to lead Seton Hall to an easy 83-64 victory
over Tulane on Sunday night.

Jamar Nutter added 16 points for Seton Hall (6-2), while Marcus
Cousin pulled down 12 rebounds. David Gomez paced the Green Wave
(2-5) with 16 points, including 12-of-13 from the free throw line.

Copeland had 18 points in the first half, culminated by a
three-point play off a steal just before the break. Overall, he was
9-of-12 from the floor and 4-of-6 from 3-point range.

Seton Hall, which never trailed and held double-digit leads for
most of the game, took an early 14-2 as Copeland scored nine points
in the first four minutes, including two long-range 3-pointers. The
Pirates then finished the half with a 7-2 run and held a 43-26 lead
at the break.

Nutter then had five points in the Pirates 10-6 run over the
first three minutes of the second half, and Tulane never seriously
threatened the rest of the way.
