MINNEAPOLIS -- Jamie Broback scored 16 points to lead No. 14
Minnesota to a 83-57 victory over Washington State on Saturday
night.

The Gophers (6-1) extended their home winning streak to four
games, while Washington State (6-2) had its four-game winning
streak stopped.

Shannon Schonrock shot 6-for-8 and finished with 15 points.
April Calhoun scored 13 and Liz Podominick had 10 for the Gophers.

Katie Appleton had 13 points for the Cougars. Katie Benz scored
12 and Charmaine Jones had 10 for Washington State.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Freshman Courtney Paris scored 15
second-half points and grabbed 18 rebounds to lead Oklahoma.

Oklahoma (9-1) saw a 16-point first-half lead shrink to 46-42
with 9:36 left after a basket by Missouri State's Kari Koch.
Oklahoma, which committed 25 turnovers, responded with a 14-3 run
to push its lead to 60-45 with 4:08 left.

Leah Rush led Oklahoma with 21 points. Erin Higgins added 13 and
Kendra Moore finished with 11.

Koch finished with 24 points and Tahnee Balerio had 18.<

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Caroline Williams scored all 22 of her
points in the first half to lead Vanderbilt past Miami of Ohio.

Liz Sherwood and Carla Thomas finished with 14 points each, and
reserve Cherish Stringfield added 13 for the Commodores (8-2). Dee
Davis had her second 10-assist game of the season.

Cindi Merrill had 23 points and Katie Guerriero added 10 for the
Redhawks (3-5).

SALT LAKE CITY -- Shona Thorburn had 22 points and a
career-high 13 assists in Utah's win over Gonzaga.

Kim Smith had 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Utes, and Julie
Larsen shot 3-for-6 on 3-pointers and finished with 11 points.

Ashley Anderson scored 16 points and Katy Ridenour had 10 points
and a team-high six rebounds for Gonzaga, which was outrebounded
46-25.
