Proud Tower Too wins On Trust Handicap

INGLEWOOD, Calif. -- Proud Tower Too beat Jack's Wild by a
neck Sunday in the $101,000 On Trust Handicap at Hollywood Park on
Sunday.

Ridden by David Cohen, Proud Tower Too ran 7½ furlongs in
1:27.37 and paid $16, $8.40 and $4.40 as the fourth choice in the
field of seven California-breds. Jack's Wild returned $11.60 and
$4.20, and favored Areyoutalkintome paid $2.60 to show.

The stakes win was the first for Proud Tower Too, trainer Sal
Gonzalez and Cohen at Hollywood Park. The victory, worth $61,300,
increased Proud Tower Too's career earnings to $197,314, with four
wins in 15 starts.

Also, House of Fortune sped to a front-running, 1}-length
victory over Western Hemisphere in the co-featured Cats Cradle
Handicap.

House of Fortune ran 7½ furlongs in 1:27.24 under Patrick
Valenzuela, winning for the first time since the Hollywood Breeders
Cup Oaks 18 months ago.

House of Fortune paid $5.80, $3 and $2.10. Western Hemisphere
returned $3 and $2.10, and Strut Your Stuff paid $2.10 to show.
