CULLOWHEE, N.C. -- Antonio Russell scored 20 points to top
the pack of five players in double digits who led Western Carolina
to an 80-64 win Saturday over UNC-Asheville. The Catamounts (5-5) set a school record with 14 3-pointers -- 10
in the first half. Corey Muirhead scored 18 points and had 6 rebounds. Kyle
Greathouse had 15 points, David Berghoefer had 13 and Eric Wilson
scored 11 for Western Carolina. Joseph Barber had 14 points for the Bulldogs (0-4), followed by
Joey Harrell with 12 and Reid Augst with 10. Chad Mohn led the team
with five rebounds and scored 8 points.
