Arkansas needs to match LSU quickness, Nutt says

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Arkansas football coach Houston Nutt
says he and his staff focused on energy in Tuesday's workout
preparing to meet No. 3 LSU on Friday in the Razorbacks' final game
of the season.

"We played fast all day, and that is something we have been
trying to emphasize," Nutt said. "We need everyone to elevate
their game for LSU. We want to make this last game the best we have
played all year long."

Arkansas began the 90-minute practice outside and finished with
inside drills.

Nutt said the Tigers' speedy defense will present a challenge
for the Razorbacks' offense. LSU has a quick and physical front
line and an experienced secondary that can really run.

"There are about seven seniors on that team who can really play
football," Nutt said. "It seems like a lot of them have been
there forever. LSU's defensive line can create a lot of havoc, and
I am concerned with their ability to disrupt the center-quarterback
exchange."

Arkansas will work out for an hour Wednesday, eat Thanksgiving
dinner together at mid-day Thursday and then leave for Baton Rouge,
La., early in the afternoon.
