Soccer-Hartson a doubt for Celtic after weights session

GLASGOW, Oct 21 - A weight-training session could
cost Celtic striker John Hartson his place in Sunday's Scottish
Premier League game at Kilmarnock due to a back problem.

Hartson missed training on Friday and manager Gordon
Strachan told reporters: "I think he was doing upper body
weights the other day and that has affected him.

"It has been a bit of a problem for him, although it is just
a bit of stiffness really. With doing extra work he has found
that he has had a wee bit of a problem with his back."

Strachan said that mid-table Kilmarnock were one of the few
sides he has been unable to watch in action, but has settled for
studying them on video.

"They are one of the teams, because of circumstances, that I
have not got to see," he said. "But, as my wife will tell you,
I've been studying videos for the last couple of nights and days
just to get a feeling of what is coming up.

"And what is coming up is high energy, organisation and
enthusiasm. We need to be ready for that and not be surprised at
the tempo they play at."

Celtic are second in the table and three points behind
Hearts, who host Dunfermline Athletic on Saturday.
