VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker) -- The Chicago
Blackhawks will look to end their recent struggles when they
visit the surging Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday.

The Blackhawks enter the finale of a four-game road swing with
losses in three of their last four games. Jim Dowd had two
assists in Saturday's 4-3 setback at San Jose.

Illinois native Craig Anderson, 24, made 40 saves in defeat
while spelling Nikolai Khabibulin, who sat out his first game
since joining the Blackhawks as a free agent in the offseason.

The Canucks have won three of their last four games and sit atop
the Northwest Division. On Sunday, Vancouver scored three
times in the third period to post a 5-2 win over Dallas. Ed
Jovanovski supplied three assists, including on third-period
scores by Todd Bertuzzi and Richard Park.

Alexander Auld improved to 2-0-0 for the Canucks by stopping 18
shots.

Vancouver, which is 2-0 at home this season, has won its last
five games against Chicago in GM Place dating to October 2001.
