Carroll sweeps over Tech, 45-3

HELENA -- Only a 25-yard field goal by Dan Kleckner of
Montana Tech kept the Orediggers from a scoreless showing Saturday
as Carroll swept to a 45-3 victory in Frontier Conference football.

Kleckner kicked the field goal three plays after recovering a

Carroll responded with an 11-yard touchdown run by Jed Thomas in
the first quarter and then scored three touchdowns in the second.
Emmert connected with Tyler Peterson for a 55-yard score and Thomas
for a 12-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

The No. 1 Saints had 26 first downs and 476 yards in total
offense. No. 9 Tech had 206 yards of total offense and six first
downs.
