ESPN Outdoors 2005-2006 Whitetail Forecast

Now it's on to Part 3 of the ESPN Outdoors 2005-06 Whitetail Deer Forecast with an overview of the Midwest, the granddaddy of whitetail country.

Missouri state deer biologist Lonnie Hansen has helped to sum up the region's deer-hunting prowess.

"With deer anywhere in the Midwest, there is rarely a bad whitetail season," he said.

Our forescast also covers the Northeast, Southeast, the West and Canada.

We hope you've found the data helpful for planning your fall and winter hunting trips here and north of the border.

Below you will find listed the states that make up the Midwest region.

Click on each and we'll update you with much of the information hunters want most from wildlife agencies: season dates and forecasts, license requirements, bag limits, harvest numbers, success rates, hot spots and record bucks.
