SAN ANTONIO -- Denver Nuggets assistant coach Doug Moe had
surgery for prostate cancer Monday.
The 66-year-old Moe was diagnosed with cancer recently, around
the time Denver head coach George Karl was given a clean bill of
health after also have prostate cancer surgery himself.
Moe is Denver's winningest coach with 432 victories from
1980-90. He returned to the bench to assist Karl in the middle of
last season.
