COMMERCE, Texas -- Roger Daley ran for 135 yards and a
touchdown as Texas A&M-Commerce edged Midwestern State 27-25 on
Saturday night. Kyle Westerberg was 9-of-19 passing for 136 yards with a
touchdown and no interceptions for the Lions (1-2). Rahsaan Bell threw for 134 yards and ran for a score for
Midwestern (1-1), which attempted to come from behind in the second
half. With Midwestern trailing 27-12, Ross Harrison's 2-yard run and a
15-yard scoring run by Bell brought the Indians within 27-25 with
9:57 left in the fourth. Each team had more than 400 yards total offense.
