Davidson 32, Greensboro 7

DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) -- Patrick FitzGerald had three interceptions
and Davidson set a school record with six picks as the Wildcats
beat Greensboro 32-7 on Saturday.

Preston Moore returned his interception 28 yards for a touchdown
in the third quarter for Davidson (1-1). His score came 17 seconds
after Chad Barnes ran in from a yard out to make the score 22-0.

Davidson's Jonathon Hubbard rushed for 108 yards on 19 carries
and scored on the opening drive of the game on a 1-yard plunge.

Pete McSparin led the Pride (0-1) to its only touchdown on its
last possession, tossing a 14-yard scoring pass to Torrey Lowe on
fourth down and 6.

Greensboro gained just 55 of their 292 offensive yards on the
ground. Justin Roberson completed 18-of-39 passes for 203 yards,
but threw all six interceptions.

Davidson gained 419 yards of offense, 250 on the ground and 169
passing.
