Young leaves late in first half

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Texas tailback Selvin Young left Saturday night's game against No. 4 Ohio State with an ankle injury late in the second quarter and was not expected to return.

Young gained 10 yards on six carries before he re-injured his right ankle with 3:49 left in the half. Young fumbled on the play, with Ohio State recovering.

Young, a junior, got the start at tailback for the second-ranked Longhorns. He missed the last 10 games of the 2004 season with a broken ankle.
