Cs Antropov, Wilm accept Toronto's qualifying offers

TORONTO - One day after signing Eric Lindros, the
Toronto Maple Leafs remained busy Friday, announcing center Nik
Antropov and Clarke Wilm accepted their one-year qualifying
offers.

Financial terms were not disclosed, but Antropov made $925,000
and Wilm received $575,000 in 2003-04.

Drafted 10th overall in 1998, Antropov collected 13 goals and 18
assists in 62 games in 2003-04. The previous season, the
25-year-old Russian recorded career highs of 16 tallies and 29
assists in 72 contests.

In 263 career games, Antropov has 48 goals and 77 assists. Last
season, he played 26 games in Russia with Yaroslavl,
registering five goals and 14 assists.

Wilm, 28, made his debut with Toronto in 2003-04, collecting
seven penalty minutes in 10 games. He added one assist in five
postseason contests.

Selected by Calgary in the sixth round of the 1995 draft, Wilm
has 36 goals and 53 assists in 395 career games with the Flames,
Nashville Predators and Maple Leafs.

The Maple Leafs also signed right wings Roman Kukumberg and Mike
Hoffman on Friday.

A fourth-round pick in 2004, the 25-year-old Kukumberg scored 10
goals and 21 points in 55 games with Nizhnekamsk of Russia last
season. The Slovakian also represented his country at the 2004
World Championship.

Hoffman, 24, appeared in 58 games with Cleveland of the American
Hockey League in 2004-05, registering one goal, seven assists
and 170 penalty minutes.
