OCEANPORT, N.J. -- Run to Victory rallied to the lead at the
head of the stretch and held off favorite King's Coronation to post
a head victory in the $44,000 feature at Monmouth Park on Thursday.
Run to Victory covered the 1 1-16th miles on the firm turf in
1:42.1 in winning for trainer Alan Goldberg. Run to Victory, ridden
by Joe Bravo, paid $15.20, $5.40 and $2.60,
King's Coronation returned $3 and $2.20, while Matzoh Toga was
another 1\ lengths back in third, paying $2.60 for show.
