Houston (2-0) at Seattle (0-1) 10:30 pm EDT

SEATTLE (Ticker) -- Two teams that have combined for five of
the eight WNBA championships meet on Friday when the Houston
Comets face the Seattle Storm.

The Comets won the first four league titles (1997-2000) while
Storm captured last year's crown by defeating the Connecticut
Sun in the three-game finals.

Sheryl Swoops scored 27 points and Michelle Snow added 20 with
11 rebounds to lead Houston to its second victory of the season,
a 79-65 triumph over the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday.

After raising their championship banner on Saturday, the Storm
suffered a 68-50 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks in their season
opener.

Betty Lennox scored 14 points and Janell Burse grabbed 11
rebounds for Seattle, which shot just 23 percent (18-of-76) from
the floor and committed 16 turnovers.

The teams split their four meetings last season. Houston leads
the overall series, 12-5.
