INGLEWOOD, Calif. -- Pickle rallied to beat Makeup Artist by
a nose Saturday in the $109,600 Wilshire Handicap at Hollywood
Park.
Ridden by Jon Court, Pickle covered a mile on the turf course in
1:33.85 and paid $20.80, $9.40 and $5.20. The 4-year-old filly
earned $65,760 for her second victory in three North American
starts.
Makeup Artist returned $6.80 and $3.60, and Amorama and paid
$3.40 to show.
