ATLANTA -- Andruw Jones, mired in a 1-for-30 slump, hit a
three-run homer in the first inning to help Atlanta beat
Philadelphia for its third straight victory.

Tim Hudson (2-0) had another strong outing, allowing one run in
six innings. In a sign of how well he's pitching in his first
season for Atlanta, Hudson's ERA actually climbed from 0.82 to
0.96.

Of course, the Braves gave the right-hander plenty of room for
error. They scored five runs in the first, capped by Jones' second
homer of the season, and blew the game open with five more in the
fifth.

Chipper Jones and Brian Jordan had two RBIss apiece for Atlanta.

Randy Wolf (1-2) lasted only four innings.<
