Streaking Dodgers aim for seventh straight

LA Dodgers (10-2) at Milwaukee (5-7), 1:05 pm EDT

MILWAUKEE -- The Los Angeles Dodgers give the ball to
Elmer Dessens in search of their seventh straight win when they
take on the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday.

Behind Milton Bradley's two home runs and four RBIs, the Dodgers
posted a 7-3 victory over the Brewers on Monday in the opener of
the two-game set.

Bradley has four homers in his last four games and became the
first Dodger to hit one from both sides of the plate in the same
game since 1990. His bat backed Odalis Perez, who took a
no-hitter into the seventh.

Los Angeles is off to its best 12-game start since 1981 when it
won the World Series.

Dessens (0-0, 3.18) has had plenty of rest since his only
appearance this year April 8. The Mexico native allowed two
runs and four hits in 5 2/3 innings in an 8-7 win over the
Arizona Diamondbacks.

The 34-year-old righthander is 8-6 lifetime vs. Milwaukee, the
most wins he has against any team in the majors.

The Brewers, who have scored just eight runs in losing four
straight, send Gary Glover (0-1, 4.26) to the mound. In his
only start this year, Glover allowed three runs and eight hits
in six innings in a 4-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates on April
12.
