PARIS, April 13 - World number three Amelie
Mauresmo has been named in the France team to face Austria in
their Fed Cup first-round tie later this month, the French
tennis federation said on Wednesday.
Mauresmo snubbed a call up for last year's final against
Russia saying she wanted to take a break in order to be fit for
January's Australian Open.
Nathalie Dechy, Mary Pierce and Tatiana Golovin have also
been picked by new team captain Georges Goven, taking over from
Guy Forget.
The tie will be played on April 23 and 24 in Poertschach,
Austria.
