Memphis (44-32) at Dallas (52-24) 8:30 pm EDT

DALLAS (Ticker) -- The Memphis Grizzlies look to clinch their
second straight playoff berth Monday when they visit the surging
Dallas Mavericks.

The Grizzlies posted their fifth victory in six games Sunday, a
102-95 triumph over the Charlotte Bobcats to move 4 1/2 games
ahead of ninth-place Minnesota. Memphis will lock up a spot in
the postseason with one more victory or a loss by Minnesota,
which is idle Monday.

The Grizzlies have six games left, one more than Minnesota,
and owns the tiebreaker advantage after winning the season
series.

Shane Battier collected 25 points and 11 rebounds and Mike
Miller added 21 points for the Grizzlies, who will begin a
difficult four-game road trip in which they will play all
Western Conference playoff squads.

The swing starts in Dallas, which has won three in a row and
seven of its last eight and owns the third-best record in the
Western Conference. Dirk Nowitzki scored 24 points and grabbed
nine rebounds as the Mavericks escaped with an 88-81 victory
over the lottery-bound Utah Jazz on Saturday.

Memphis has had little luck with Dallas this season, losing
both matchups by a combined 37 points. The squads will meet
again on April 20 in the regular season finale for both teams.

After facing the Mavericks, the Grizzlies will continue their
road trip against Houston, Denver and San Antonio.
