Toronto (31-44) at Chicago (43-32) 8:30 pm EDT

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- Following a successful road trip, the
Chicago Bulls return home Saturday when they host the Toronto
Raptors.

After having a nine-game winning streak snapped by the Miami
Heat on Tuesday, the Bulls rebounded to post back-to-back wins
over Orlando and the New York Knicks.

Rookie Ben Gordon made all 11 of his free throws and finished
with 22 points in the Bulls' 102-94 victory over the Knicks on
Friday.

The win allowed the Bulls to open up a two-game lead over the
Washington Wizards and Indiana Pacers for fourth place - the
final spot for first-round homecourt advantage - in the
Eastern Conference.

Despite its recent surge, Chicago got more bad news this week
when it learned that center Eddy Curry may miss the remainder
of the regular season and possibly the playoffs as he
undergoes further tests for an irregular heartbeat.

The Raptors are on the verge of mathematical elimination from
playoff contention after a 1-2 homestand. They salvaged a
109-101 overtime win against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday.

Jalen Rose scored 30 points and Morris Peterson added 26 and
14 rebounds as Toronto snapped a three-game slide at home.

The Bulls won the first two matchups between the teams this
season after losing six in a row to the Raptors entering
2004-05.
