Philadelphia (38-37) at Washington (41-34) 7:00 pm EDT

WASHINGTON (Ticker) - Allen Iverson has the Philadelphia 76ers
surging at the right time.

The dynamic guard leads the 76ers into a pivotal matchup with
the Washington Wizards on Saturday.

Two days after scoring 48 points in a win over Charlotte,
Iverson collected 23 points, 16 assists and seven rebounds in a
103-98 triumph over Cleveland on Friday.

The win was the third straight for the Sixers, who moved into a
tie with the Cavaliers for seventh place in the Eastern
Conference playoff race. New Jersey is in ninth place, 1 1/2
games behind the Sixers and the Cavaliers.

While forward Chris Webber remains sidelined with a shoulder
injury, center Samuel Dalembert has stepped up his play inside
for Philadelphia. He collected 23 points and 15 rebounds Friday
and has five double-doubles in his last 10 games.

Webber has been practicing with the team and may return on
Saturday.

The Wizards are sliding and enter Saturday's action leading the
Sixers by just three games after losing their fourth straight on
Friday.

Larry Hughes scored 24 points and added nine rebounds but
Washington shot just 39 percent in a 93-83 loss to Indiana. The
loss allowed Indiana to tie the Wizards for the fifth playoff
spot in the East.

Iverson collected 28 points and 13 assists in a 116-114 overtime
win over the Wizards in November 26 but was absent from the
117-107 loss here on January 26 due to a strained left rotator
cuff.
