Rockies reassign Taylor to minor league camp

TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Colorado Rockies reassigned outfielder
Reggie Taylor to minor league camp Saturday and plan to waive
right-hander Aaron Taylor on Monday.

Reggie Taylor was in the mix to land one of Colorado's five
outfield spots out of spring training, but couldn't keep up with
Cory Sullivan's hitting.

Despite missing last season due to elbow replacement surgery,
Sullivan leads the team with a .415 average. He also has four
doubles and nine RBIss. Reggie Taylor hit .265 in 13 games.

Aaron Taylor appeared in eight spring games, allowing 11 runs
and 19 hits in 9 1-3 innings. He also walked five. The Rockies will
assign him to Triple-A Colorado Springs if he clears waivers.
